No commission on a price you worked out by hand
Festive weeks are when a commission bites hardest — the more you bake, the more it takes. Your subscription does not move: a December of cake orders costs what a quiet February costs, and customers keep paying you the way they already do.
Questions we get asked
- Can someone order a cake for three weeks from now?
- That is your setting. You choose how much notice you need and how far ahead your page takes orders — up to three months — and the customer picks a day inside that. The order then sits in your list with that date on it.
- What if I am already full on a Saturday?
- A weekday you never bake can be closed outright. For one particular Saturday, pick the exact dates you take orders for instead, and your page offers nothing else — so you never cancel a cake you cannot bake.
- Can I sell a cake by size and cookies by the dozen on the same page?
- Yes. Every product carries its own unit and quantity — per piece, box, set, pack, dozen, bottle, cup, jar, tray, slice, kg or g — so a page can mix them freely.
- Can a customer check their own order without messaging me?
- Yes. Every order gets a number, and a customer who has it can look the order up on your page and see whether it is preparing, ready or done.
